I first started off rapping about God with Rahsaan the “Godchild” and Larfay aka “Temple” back in 1997. We had a group called Bloodwashed Soldiers (BWS). In 1998 Bloodwashed Soldiers joined up with God’s Army and became one group in 1998.

We totally understand that Rap has left a bad taste in quite a few peoples mouth because of the way it was being used a while ago as well as today. Rap is just an expression it is no different from any other expression like singing, dancing, poetry, playing a musical instrument, paintings etc. All of these expressions could be used for Good or for Bad. Now Rap is one of the expressions of the Hip-Hop Culture and it is used to convey information. The type of information that is presented in the Rap defines what type of Rap it is. Our Rap conveys information about God and that’s where the ministry of Rap comes into play. We take scriptures from the bible and present them in such a way that today’s youth, young adults or anyone who would listen to rap can understand and relate too. Our music would be perfect for the people who embrace the hip-hop culture AND have a genuine love for God.

I can do a lot of different things from Teaching, Rapping, Writing Lyrics and Poems, Acting, a little Video Production; I started my own website in June of 2002

I believe that everyone brings something to the table of God’s Army, but when we take all of our Talents and put them together we have something Great. When we all get on one accoooooooorrrrd that’s POWER

I would like to tell them to continue to obey God’s Word. Please don’t let your thirst for God be quenched with just our CD, please get into the Bible for yourself, Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and again fully obey the word of God. I also want to say that we are praying for you and I hope that you are praying for us. “Where there is no Vision People Perish”
